The Stamford Endowed Schools are three independent day and boarding schools with over 1600 students from nursery to sixth form. The Schools have a unique diamond structure with co-educational learning at the Junior School and in Sixth Form, and single sex teaching from age 11-16.
Stamford Endowed Schools approached Dsquared in 2016 to design and launch a new ‘What’s On’ brochure to publicise the Schools music, art and drama offering to the public. Since then we have redesigned a suite of publications including their prospectus, boarding brochures and Open Day event collateral as well as working closely with their HR team to refresh their recruitment literature. We have recently produced their new Sixth Form prospectus and given their 16-18 offering a bold look and feel to appeal directly to prospective students. We like to think that we are an extension to their in-house marketing team looking after their creative design and print.
Since working with SES, we have continued to evolve their brand by looking at how they position themselves to their different audiences. We have helped them to push the boundaries and continue to be leading the way with marketing in the sector. After the successful launch of ‘What’s On’, we worked closely with SES to produce brand guidelines following on from the new logo design. We have continued to roll this out and have assisted with a review of their marketing collateral. For the new Sixth Form prospectus we created three concepts to appeal to young people; we wanted to reflect independence and show a sense of scope for their future through our bold designs.
SES were thrilled with the launch of the Sixth Form prospectus at their Open Evening. It generated significant enquiries amongst new prospective students and created enthusiasm and pride amongst the current Year 11’s before they decide on their next steps.
